My first 5K Race

Today I got to mark something off my bucket list. Went to the Susan Komen Race for the Cure this morning  with both of my sister in laws and ran for my mom who is a breast cancer survivor. I really did not know what to expect, and I was shocked to find out there were over 10,000 people in the race!!!  The two things that stick out in my mind are the people standing on the side lines yelling encouragement, and the people with disabilities running. It humbles me to see people who nerve give up when the world has given up on them. Thanks to both of my sis in laws for all the encouragement. Love you both

I have done that before

Dustin and I took a trip over the weekend.  We were almost at our location and I had to go tho the bathroom. We stopped at Caseys and I go inside to the restroom. I had just sat down and the door opens. The person tried to open my door but i was in there. I could not figure out why they did not go to the other side because no one was in that stall. I just peeked through the slit in the door and what i could see I did not like. It was a MAN!!!! I was trying to do my job and all the sudden I thought maybe I went into the wrong door. But I was pretty sure I did see a baby changing table when i walked in. Then I thought well I guess dad's could change kids too. I did not know what to do or say. I could tell he was getting impatient and so was I. Its very hard to go when your nervous. We were at a stand still and then it must have clicked to him that he was in the WOMENS bathroom. He turned on the hand dryer and walked out. I busted out laughing ( don't know why) but it was funny to me. I finished up with my business and walked out with a great big smile on my face. And I thought I was the only one that did silly things.
